Terms and conditions

Last updated: 15 October 2026. These terms govern the use of the Reelgap Chrome extension. Purchasing a subscription is additionally subject to the Freemius terms shown to you before purchase (see section 2).

1. Provider

Reelgap is provided by HYPED, owner Dominic Foerst, Drachenfelsstraße 1, 67240 Bobenheim-Roxheim, Germany, email: [email protected] ("we"). These terms apply to consumers and businesses. Deviating terms of businesses only apply if we expressly agree to them.

2. Who your contract partner is

Orders for a paid subscription are handled by Freemius, Inc. (USA) as authorised reseller and seller in its own name (merchant of record). Your purchase contract for the subscription is concluded with Freemius. Freemius handles payment, invoicing including VAT and the payout of refunds. The Freemius purchase terms are shown to you at checkout.

Use of Reelgap, meaning features, licence and technical support, is governed by these terms and provided by us. Your licence is valid as long as your subscription is active.

3. Service

Reelgap is an extension for the Google Chrome browser. On product and search pages of amazon.de, amazon.com, amazon.co.uk and amazon.ca it shows information that helps Amazon influencers choose products for videos, for example whether an influencer video is possible, how many influencer videos exist, the onsite commission and the placement of your own videos. The current feature set is described on the features page.

Requirements are a current version of Google Chrome, an internet connection and, for some features such as the placement check, your own Amazon Influencer Program account. Reelgap reads information from the pages you open and loads further Amazon pages from your browser for this. Reelgap takes no actions in your Amazon account.

4. Free trial

You can try Reelgap free for 7 days. No payment details are needed. The trial ends automatically and does not turn into a paid subscription. A subscription only exists if you buy one yourself at checkout.

5. Prices and payment

The subscription costs €14.99 per month including VAT unless a different price is shown at checkout, for example a founder price. The price shown before purchase applies. Payment is made in advance for each billing period via the payment methods offered by Freemius.

A founder price applies under the conditions stated with the offer and for as long as the subscription taken out with it runs without interruption. Partner access is granted under a separate agreement.

Price changes only apply to future billing periods. We will announce them by email at least 30 days in advance. You can cancel your subscription before they take effect.

6. Term and cancellation

The subscription runs for one month and renews automatically for another month unless you cancel. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period, without giving reasons. You can keep using Reelgap until then.

You can cancel in your Freemius customer account, via the cancellation function on reelgap.com or by email to [email protected]. Cancellation in text form is sufficient. Both parties' right to terminate for good cause remains unaffected.

7. Licence

For the duration of your subscription or trial you receive a simple, non-transferable right to use Reelgap for your own purposes. A licence is for one person; the number of activations is stated in the plan. You may not share or sell licence keys, modify, decompile or replicate Reelgap except where the law expressly permits it, or use Reelgap to load Amazon pages in bulk or in an automated way.

8. Amazon

Reelgap is an independent tool and not affiliated with Amazon. Amazon and the marketplaces named are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates.

You are responsible for complying with the terms of the Amazon programs you take part in, such as Amazon Associates and the Influencer Program. Reelgap does not grant admission to any Amazon program.

The figures shown come from Amazon pages and Amazon's published commission tables. They may be incomplete or change. Reelgap is a decision aid and does not promise any particular placements, sales, commissions or income. If Amazon changes its pages, individual features may be limited temporarily until we have updated Reelgap.

9. Updates and warranty

We provide the updates needed for Reelgap to work as agreed during your subscription, in particular adjustments to Amazon changes and security fixes. Install available updates for them to take effect. We may develop Reelgap further and change features where this is reasonable for you and the agreed benefit is preserved. Statutory warranty rights remain unaffected; for consumers the rules on digital products (Sections 327 et seq. of the German Civil Code) apply in particular.

10. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under the German Product Liability Act and to the extent of any guarantee given. For slight negligence we are only liable for breach of obligations whose fulfilment makes proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on whose observance you may regularly rely, limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract. Otherwise liability for slight negligence is excluded. We are not liable for measures Amazon takes regarding your account that result from your own conduct or Amazon's decisions, unless we are responsible for them under the preceding sentences.

12. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms for future billing periods if the law, technology or our service providers change and the change is reasonable for you. We will inform you by email at least 30 days in advance. If you do not agree, you can cancel your subscription before the change takes effect. Essential terms such as price and scope of service are not changed this way.

13. Final provisions

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country of your habitual residence remain unaffected. Where merchants, legal entities under public law or special funds under public law are involved, the place of jurisdiction is our registered office.

We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
